Rosmah Mansor's $6 Million Shopping Spree

The prime minister's wife Rosmah Mansor (left) allegedly spent $6 million on clothes, shoes and jewelery, claims The Wall Street Journal.
The report said the spending, made between 2008 and 2015, was based on new documents reviewed by the WSJ.
Rosmah (left) is again in the limelight because of her extravagance.

She has no known source of income beyond her husband’s salary. Hubby, of course, is a longtime politician with a reported annual salary of $100,000. Furthermore, she is the only child of schoolteachers and hasn’t had a regular paying job in years.
According to the WSJ, the latest $6 million expenses include the nearly $1 million spending by Rosmah, which it had previously reported.
The spending were made from London's Harrods department store to Saks Fifth Avenue of New York and elsewhere.
In March this year, WSJ reported that Rosmah had shelled out €750,000 (RM4.091 million) at an Italian branch of Swiss-owned jewelery store De Grisogono and $130,635 (RM534,297) at Chanel in Honolulu, Hawaii.
In that report, the WSJ claimed the spending was charged to the credit cards of Najib Razak. It also alleged the credit cards drew on 1MDB funds.
The latest report highlighted Rosmah's biography on her source of funds for shopping.
“I have bought some jewelery and dresses with my own money. What is wrong with that?” it quoted Rosmah in her biography.
Anyway, Najib could not be reached for comment.
Rosmah should kindly step forward and clear her name. Otherwise, she may wish to sue WSJ. or get hubby Najib to publicly scold it for being a busybody and interfering in Malaysia’s domestic affairs!
Or continue to be oblivious to the escalating furor surrounding her shopping expeditions and do what she has been doing all along – spend, spend, spend without a care in the world! After all, it is not her money – so why should she even worry, right?
That smart-ass fool of a boss helming Celtic had insisted the team were not in Barcelona, Spain to be “passengers” in Tuesday’s Champions League tie.
Brendan Rodgers talked shit! Celtic were up against a club that have won five European Champions Cups, four of which have come within the last 11 seasons.
And Barcelona have star names in every department! I have not even begun talking about their potent M-S-N strike force. Rodgers should learn honesty.
True enough, in their first group match, rampant Barcelona routed Celtic 7-0!
Lionel Messi scored his sixth Champions League hat-trick (3, 27, 60) and the other contributors were Neymar (50), Iniesta (59) and Luis Suarez (75, 88).
This was Celtic’s heaviest ever European defeat!
So, Rodgers, shut the fuck up!
