Cow Farts

California's governor Jerry Brown is said to be a staunch global warming campaigner and he has reportedly supported many environmental initiatives.

On Monday he signed legislation which would regulate greenhouse emissions from landfills and dairy farms.

The legislature writes: “This bill would require the state board, in consultation with the Department of Food and Agriculture, to adopt regulations to reduce methane emissions from livestock manure management operations and dairy manure management operations, as specified”.

In layman’s terms, the governor just signed a bill to regulate cow farts.

But the problem is, how does one control the flatulence patterns of bovine creatures?

The fact of the matter is, you can’t!

Perhaps Brown should try a simple experiment – control his own farting. And if he is successful, then just maybe, he can teach the cows to do the same! Wakakaka!

Yesterday, I was on Level 2 in Wisma LYL, Section 51A in PJ where I was the Toastmaster-of-the-Day for the Scope Toastmasters meeting.

A meeting with good energy and even I was in my element. An ebulliently enjoyable experience!

And oh yes, I was voted Best Table Topics speaker.
