Malaysia's Rio Olympics Achievements

As the Rio Olympics (August 06-21, 2016) draws to a close, the Malaysian contingent can hold their heads high because we won five medals: four silver and one bronze.

The athletes who won medals: badminton men’s single Lee Chong Wei; men's doubles pair Goh V Shem and Tan Wee Kiong; mixed doubles pair Goh Liu Ying and Chan Peng Soon, divers Pandelela Rinong and Cheong Jun Hoong and cyclist Azizulhasni Awang.

It is special because this is the best achievement by the Malaysian contingent in the history of our participation in the Olympic Games.

We had our usual Table Topics, assignment speeches and evaluations. And also a birthday celebration for members Cyril Jonas and Gabriel Chong and including guests whose birthdays fall in this month: Cheri Teng (ITC Bintang), Pushpa (NAWEM) and Alan Chew (One World).

I presented yet again my speech in Malay, a CC #6 titled “Kepedihan Hidup” and this time, I was actually voted Best Speaker. I clearly didn't expect it. Anyway, here’s the proof:
