Yesterday, twenty-one Toastmasters from ITC Bintang and Liquid Gold Advanced – including Division P Director Benny Chia, Area J1 Director Gerard Peter and Area P5 Director Victor Ong – gave up their Sunday to be at Sunway College to conduct the 2016 edition of the Sunway TES Youth Leadership Program for about 80-plus PPAM scholars.

It was a wonderful opportunity to promote Toastmasters!

I took charge of one of four groups and these are the students under my charge:

On Sunday, Celtic beat their closest challenger Aberdeen 3-2 to secure the Scottish Premiership title for the fifth year in a row – and with two games remaining.

Winger Patrick Roberts struck twice (7, 20) and Mikael Lustig added the third for Celtic four minutes after halftime. Niall McGinn and Andrew Considine gave the Dons two goals but Celtic hung on to move 12 points ahead of their closest rival.

Celtic manager Ronny Delia gushed: “It means we are the best team in Scotland”. He was stating the obvious!

This latest achievement is the 47th Scottish league title in Celtic’s history – but still seven behind their arch rivals Rangers. And the latter will return to the top flight next season after four years in the lower divisions following the club’s liquidation in 2012.

And on the same day too, Liverpool beat Watford 2-0 to give the Reds their first EPL win in three games!

Thanks to Joe Allen who put them in front in the thirty-fifth minute as he guided in a Christian Benteke knock-down after Philippe Coutinho's cross, and Roberto Firmino who added the second goal in the seventy-sixth minute.

Even so, we are languishing in eighth place.
