BN Win in Sarawak! Boring!

Team Adenan and BN were victorious in Sarawak. As expected.
They won 72 seats out of 82 up for contest in the Sarawak election yesterday. The result not only gives them an unassailable hold on the state, but surpassed the size of the previous assembly state legislative assembly prior to last year’s re-delineation.

Rival PKR was able to retain their three seats in Ba’kelalan, Batu Lintang and and Krian, but made no headway elsewhere. DAP not only failed to make inroads, but lost five of the 12 seats it won in 2011.

PKR-DAP clowns, continue your in-fighting lah!

Jurgen Klopp remains on course for silverware in his first season in charge after Liverpool beat Villarreal on Thursday to reach the Europa League final.

Already trailing 1-0 from the first leg, the Reds levelled the tie on aggregate after Bruno Soriano's seventh-minute own goal. Daniel Sturridge put the hosts in command in the sixty-third minute with a low finish after good work from the excellent Roberto Firmino. And Adam Lallana made the win safe in the eighty-first minute.

Klopp's side will face Europa League holders Sevilla in Basel on May 18, after they triumphed over Shakhtar Donetsk to win their semi-final 5-3 on aggregate.

Despite sitting nine points and 19 goals behind fourth-placed Manchester City in the EPL, Liverpool would qualify for next season's Champions League should they win in Switzerland, representing a fine return for Klopp in such a short spell in charge.
On Thursday, I was at KL's Berjaya Times Square for the Berjaya UCH Toastmasters meeting and I was a speech evaluator for two speakers.
