The newly-minted Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said that the full brunt of the law will be used against Sarawak Report editor Clare Rewcastle-Brown and her "evil" actions to discredit Prime Minister Najib Razak.
His stooge IGP Khalid Abu Bakar followed it up by announcing that police would initiate investigations under Section 124 of the Penal Code against the website for intent to bring down the Government.
The duo’s declarations were made because Sarawak Report had dropped a bombshell on Thursday about a purported charge sheet, which was allegedly being drafted by former A-G Abdul Gani Patail against the prime minister; that Najib Razak is to be arrested and charged for corruption, with an alternative charge for criminal breach of trust.
This is supposedly related to the transfer of RM27 million by SRC International, a former subsidiary of 1MDB, into Najib's bank account.

Yesterday, Malaysiakini reported the draft charge sheet was circulating on the Internet, together with a claim that it had led to Gani being removed as attorney-general.
The new Attorney-General Mohamed Apandi Ali dismissed the document as false and indicated a conspiracy to oust the prime minister. And the IGP promptly added that it was not necessary to question Gani if it is true he was preparing to arrest the PM because the A-G had already addressed it on Gani's behalf.
Malaysians are riveted to the political mega-drama and we can’t wait to see forthcoming episodes unfolding before us. The best is yet to come.
