Halal Trolleys

Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Minister Hamzah Zainuddin had come up with the brilliant idea to segregate trolleys at supermarkets nationwide.

An Utusan Malaysia report dated November 06, 2015 said his ministry was considering imposing a new law to propose using trolleys of different colors, such as red for non-halal products. Citing multiple complaints received about shoppers insisting on paying for non-halal products at regular checkout counters,

Hamzah also said all supermarket operators have a responsibility to provide segregated check-out counters.

I agree. We shouldn’t allow non-Muslims to befoul Muslims by exposing the latter to non-halal “things”. The latter’s fragile faith might weaken through no fault of theirs and they might even give up on Islam!

Don’t delay in passing the law, Hamzah! And please, don’t stop there!

Thereafter, we must separate money because the non-Muslims who oftentimes handle “haram” things will pass on contaminated banknotes and coins to the Muslims too. You never know – the ringgit you pass around may be greased with lard!

I think it is time the government consider segregating Muslims and non-Muslims. We can’t have the former becoming enfeebled because if that happens, what will become of them? Only Islam can keep them on the straight and narrow.

I think we should start thinking of “apartheid” as a national policy. What say you, Najib Razak?

Don’t pay attention to the liberals and progressives who say that segregation will only further polarize Malaysian society. We must keep Islam pure. Therefore, it is important that Hamzah and other like-minded cretins defend their religion, come what may!

Last evening, I attended the Sunway University Toastmasters meeting. There were three Ice-Breakers and one CC speech #9. All were quality speeches! And these were accompanied by quality evaluations. A good meeting overall.
