The Tourism and Culture Minister Nazri Abdul Aziz heaped praise on the Bersih 4.0 rally. It not only attracted a record number of Malaysians but it received worldwide media coverage. And inadvertently, that helped to promote Malaysia.

I don’t quite know how but in any case, Nazri said it saved the government billions in advertising dollars.

He also said It proved that Malaysia is a democracy because the country bore witness to a humongous protest against a sitting prime minister. I suppose that is unusual in Malaysia but then again, we are already at the end of our patience. Najib Razak has to go!

Anyway, if we had saved billions, where is the money now? I sure hope that the bumper savings didn't go into somebody’s private bank account.

Yesterday, I was in PJ’s Merchant Square to attend the Friendship Toastmasters meeting. And to evaluate an Advanced speech. And yes, I was voted Best Evaluator.
