13 UMNO Branch Chiefs Oppose Najib Razak

UMNO opposition to Najib Razak is still a trickle but I guess it is a good start. Better still, when it involves grassroots leaders.
And so, it came to pass that thirteen UMNO branch chiefs from Telok Kemang in Negri Sembilan on Saturday declared they had lost confidence in Najib's leadership and urged him to step down as party president in order to restore UMNO's credibility before the next general election.
Their spokesperson, Kamarul Aznan Habibur Rahman, head of Taman TKK UMNO branch said it was time for the party to embrace change and it must start from the president, Najib who is also the prime minister.
"We are of the opinion that it is better for the president to step down so that UMNO will not be the victim and be punished by voters in the next general election". Malaysia is to go to the polls by the middle of 2018.
Yesterday afternoon, I was at the joint OUM-HELP University Toastmasters meeting held at the OUM Main Campus. Thirteen of us attended.
I am grateful to May Ong for giving me a speaking slot and so I presented CC speech #9 titled “The Devil Hides His Halo”. The speech was alright and I was evaluated by Rohijas Sharif.
Overall, it was a good meeting with good speeches and evaluations. Plus the fact that we started and ended on time. I'll give it a score of a 7 over 10.
