My Second Trip to Langkawi

I flew into Langkawi on Firefly on Thursday – and I was there because I was to compete in the District-level Table Topics Contest. I represented Division G and the event was the District 51 Langkawi Annual Conference 2015 (May 01-03, 2015).

I also managed to capture a photo with Dananjaya Hettiarachchi, World Champion of Public Speaking 2014 on Thursday evening:

Celtic earned an emphatic victory over Dundee on Friday. Leigh Griffiths headed Celtic in front in the thirtieth minute before Scott Brown scored seven minutes later to make it two in a one-sided first half. Kris Commons' penalty (71) and a James Forrest low drive (77) were followed by a superb long-range strike by Nir Bitton (88) – giving Celtic a 5-goal blitz.

And because closest challengers Aberdeen failed to beat Dundee United on Saturday – they lost 0-1 – Celtic are crowned 2014-2015 Scottish Premiership champions.

On Saturday, Liverpool grabbed a 2-1 win over QPR. Philippe Coutinho put the Reds ahead with a great strike in the nineteenth minute before Leroy Fer volleyed in (73) to even the score. And Steven Gerrard headed past Rob Green in the 87th minute to keep alive his side's slim hopes of Champions League qualification.

[Of course, Manchester United helped us when on that same day, they were beaten 0-1 by West Bromwich Albion – their third consecutive defeat. This means Liverpool are now only four points behind the Red Devils with nine points to play for].
