Islam Crosses Swords with the Cross

UMNO are up to no good again!

On Sunday, some fifty people turned up at the doorstep of a shophouse church in Taman Medan, Petaling Jaya – and interrupted the 10 AM service – to demand that the cross affixed to the house of worship be removed as it was "challenging Islam".

What they were saying was that they didn't want a Christian cross in a Muslim-majority area because their aqidah is weak. I didn’t know that the cross is so damn powerful – by merely looking at it, it can shake Muslims’ faith in their own religion.

Anyway, the church reportedly took down the cross on the same day. The Christian symbol may not be seen but I am sure that will not affect the religious convictions of the believers. Unlike the Muslims, their faith is strong and steady.

But non-Muslims must not be quick to blame the Malay-Muslim community. There’s a hidden hand here. One of the protestors caught on video was none other than Munaliza Hamzah, the UMNO candidate who lost to PKR’s Haniza Mohamed Talha in the last general election by a margin of 4,433 votes. Besides verbally attacking the church, Munaliza was seen holding up a placard which read, ‘Is the state assemblypeson sleeping?’

And that was not all. Today, Malaysiakini quoted Munaliza as saying that their protest was not seditious as "no one had died, become injured or was upset by them". UMNO seem populated by mindless dumbbells like her!

Petaling Jaya Selatan MP Hee Loy Sian, in fact, accused UMNO of perpetrating the protest against the church. The PKR parliamentarian said the demonstrators who claimed to be residents are UMNO members, specifically from the Petaling Jaya Selatan division.

Now we know who are inciting trouble and fomenting strife. The rabble-rousers are from UMNO, not the ordinary Malay folks.

This was not the first time a protest was held against a church. On November 02, 2014, Muslim NGO, Pertubuhan Sahabat organized a demonstration to protest the construction of the four-storey Praise Emmanuel Assembly church at Jalan PJS 8/9 in Petaling Jaya. The NGO said there were already three churches in the vicinity, adding it was not appropriate in a neighbourhood that counted 70% of its residents as Muslim. And that the church would be an insult to the Muslims living there.

Prime Minister Najib Razak boasts to the world that Malaysia is a bastion of moderation. My ass! Najib, as usual, is talking cock!

In conjunction with the theatrical release of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” on April 23, 2015 and the launch of the second season of Disney XD’s “Avengers Assemble” TV series – life-sized figurines of Iron Man’s ‘Hulkbuster’ armor, Captain America, and Hulk were showcased at KL’s MidValley Megamall.

I was only interested in Hulk. And even better, I got pics of the Hulk and I! Epic cool!
