Non-Malays are Arrogant and Insulting

Malays are paying the price for being kind to non-Malays, said Ahmad Zahid Hamidi (left), UMNO vice-president (and also Home Minister) yesterday. "Non-Malays are getting increasingly arrogant and are insulting the bumiputras, the royalty and Islam”.

Can you recognize it? He speaks the language of Perkasa and Isma: "We allowed them to be indebted to us without needing them to pay it back; they are now insulting Islam and the Malays under the pretense of democracy, freedom of speech, and globalization."

UMNO Segambut division chief Kamaruddin Ambok even referred to non-bumiputras in the country as being "biadap" and "kurang ajar".

These UMNO jerks are only good at making disparaging remarks at fellow Malaysians! When are we arrogant? Or insulting? Cannot we question? Are to play dumb? If they decide to embrace stupidity wholeheartedly, that’s their business! We must respect their right to be stupid but please, don't ask us to be stupid too.

And I cannot fathom it but there are those who are with the MCA, Gerakan, MIC, PBS, et cetera who wallow in UMNO’s putrefaction and happily give their support to a discredited Barisan Nasional! They sure love to be at the receiving end. How sad!

Today, the Sunway University Toastmasters Club organized a demo meeting – the purpose is to promote the club amongst new students here and to showcase Toastmasters. It is part of our recruitment drive and this was the second such meeting for this calendar year. This time around, we were not aggressive in our communication and so we attracted only about forty plus attendees. We could certainly do better!

As for the meeting itself, it generally went well. Anyway, I was the Toastmaster-of-the-Evening. I should acknowledge Toastmasters from these clubs who came to give us support: Sai Masters, Taylor's College, HELP University, and Puchong English. Thank you.
