Mahathir Mohamad Fears BN Will Lose GE14

Former Malaysian prime minister Mahathir Mohamad (left) has made a confession why he gave Najib Razak a public dressing down! He told Mohd Ridzuan Abdullah, the president of Ikhlas, an NGO representing Malay traders and small businesses that he fears Barisan Nasional will lose in the next general election if Najib continues as prime minister.

Mahathir's fear is real and it is growing. And because of this, he worries a lot! We all know when Pakatan Rakyat wins and takes over the government, mountains of dirt will be dug up and he and many others will face justice.

On Sunday, I was at the Grand Dorsett Subang in Subang Jaya to attend the ALC Graduation ceremony. I have students who graduated from the University of Gloucestershire’s BA (Hons) in Business Management Studies program.

Tuesday's game that marked Liverpool’s return to Champions League football should have been almost a walkover, if we believe Brendan Rodgers’ boast. After all, the Reds were playing against Bulgarian minnows Ludogorets Razgrad.

The truth of the matter was that it was a labored 2-1 win. Although the Reds took the lead in the 82nd minute when Mario Balotelli held off two defenders and poked home his first goal for Liverpool – their opponents equalized when substitute Dani Abalo rounded Simon Mignolet and scored in the 90th minute.

Luckily, debutant goalkeeper Milan Borjan fouled Javier Manquillo in the second minute of stoppage-time to give the Reds a spot-kick. And Captain Steven Gerrard found the net in front of the Kop to send the crowd into raptures and give Liverpool a winning start to their Group B campaign.
