Dayaks Threatened with Beheading on Facebook

Somebody is playing a dangerous game. A Facebook user called “JIM-Jemaah ISIS Malaysia” made two incendiary postings.
The first posting, which appeared last Thursday, said, “It’s compulsory for Muslims to slaughter the non-Muslims” in Sabah and Sarawak because they were kafir nations.
In another posting on Tuesday, the same user said that Dayaks, being infidels, were destined for hell and should be beheaded. The user claimed that the genitals of the Dayaks showed through their loincloths and that the Prophet Muhammad was referring to these people when he said people who were “naked although clothed” would inhabit hell.
Dayaks in Sarawak saw red over these messages.
The Dayak National Congress, an NGO, lodged a police report on Tuesday itself on behalf of the Orang Asal in Sarawak.
The offending postings have since been removed but I am sure, to the Dayaks, the hurt and anger remain strong!
Yesterday, I was in KL’s Taman Tun Dr Ismail to attend the TTDI Toastmasters meeting. I was given the role of Evaluator for an Advanced speaker. I daresay she was the best speaker because her speech was good although her delivery could be better. The other two speeches didn’t quite meet their respective objectives though. Still it was a good meeting although some presenters were a little long-winded. Anyway, I would give this meeting a score of a 6 over 10.
