Chinese People Have the Most Fun

It’s Monday and I need to cheer myself up. So happens I found this witticism about Chinese people. (Note: Unless you are Chinese, you may not understand).
PKR de-facto leader Anwar Ibrahim, PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang and opposition veteran Lim Kit Siang in his capacity as DAP parliamentary head came together on Saturday to issue a joint statement, seeking to allay growing concern that the Pakatan Rakyat pact was disintegrating following open spats. The trio said they remained steadfast in upholding the voters’ mandate. Uh-huh.
It’s good to see solidarity. But please prove that this is not just a picture-perfect show put up to appease Malaysians who support you. Show us that you not only stand together but that you really mean it. Show by getting rid of Khalid Ibrahim without delay.
The dawn-to-dusk curfew covering the waters off Sabah’s east coast – which expired on August 02, 2014 – has been extended until further notice.
According to The Sun newspaper, during this period, ESSCOM detained 46 fishermen and eleven boats for defying the curfew in eight incidents (p 06). Is that all? No illegals? No pirates? No Sulu gunmen? Wow!
All seems quiet on the eastern front!
