On June 10, my blogpost highlighted the upcoming Transformers movie – at this link http://helpvictor.blogspot.com/2014/06/lighting-giants.html.

But check out the 20-foot tall Transformer figure – Optimus Prime – that is displayed in Hong Kong's Victoria Habor ahead of the world premiere of Transformers: Age of Extinction on Thursday. It promises to be a movie of epic proportions! It is a Michael Bay movie after all.

Iran were unlucky at the Mineirao Stadium in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Yesterday, they played an excellent game and would have earned a deserved point if not for Lionel Messi whose stunning 91st-minute winner sent Argentina through to the World Cup knockout stage.

Iran must take immense confidence from a performance that combined defensive resilience with attacking adventure – and from the knowledge they could still qualify from Group F.

And at the Estadio Castelao in Fortaleza, Brazil, the Germans came from behind to snatch a 2-2 draw against Ghana in Group G.

The Germans can be knocked from top of the group by the USA-Portugal result and must beat Jurgen Klinsmann’s Stars and Stripes in Recife on Thursday to be sure of reaching the last sixteen.
