Chinese Invaders Came to Destroy Malay Identity

Ikatan Muslimin Malaysia (Isma) continue to stoke the sanctimonious fire of resentment among the Malay-Muslim community, and fuel their spread. Of course, the Malaysian Chinese are their target.

On Tuesday, Isma president Abdullah Zaik Abdul Rahman sparked uproar when he suggested that the influx of Chinese migrants into Tanah Melayu had been “a mistake” and called the country’s second biggest race “invaders”.

If that incendiary rhetoric was not enough, barely a day later, their deputy president Aminuddin Yahaya – in an interview with The Malay Mail Online – roused the flames further when he vociferated that the Chinese were brought into Malaysia by the British to destroy Malay identity. He even explained that the DAP slogan Malaysia for Malaysians was about creating a country of Malaysians with no Malays!

Please don’t ask me how the duo arrived at the conclusions because stupidity itself can oftentimes be difficult to explain.

I remember reading about the basic laws of human stupidity. And the first law asserts without ambiguity that: “Always and inevitably everyone underestimates the number of stupid individuals in circulation”.

I suppose in Malaysia, we are cursed to have a disproportionate supply of stupid people.

On Tuesday, I was at Merchant Square in Jalan Tropicana Selatan 1, Petaling Jaya to attend the Friendship Toastmasters meeting. I did not have any meeting role. In any case, I had the fortune to listen to good speeches and evaluations and that was good enough for me. I would give this meeting a score of a 7 over 10.
