Work is Never Done (even when Classes are Done)

I can now have my lunch. At 3:03 PM. Now that I have finally finished marking my last Business Plan report – all twenty-five of them! Next, the exam scripts and other stuff that are sitting longingly on my desk and waiting impatiently to receive my undivided attention.

The menus in the photo above are from  one of my students' reports yup, the very last one to be marked from the group that suggested the Pikachu-themed restaurant. A really nice touch!

On Tuesday, a police officer, Raja Aizam Raja Mohd was murdered and a colleague Mohd Aidil Mustafa severely wounded when they were attacked while on patrol in Taman Sentosa, Klang. It is believed that the two were confronted by five men armed with knives at Lorong Yusuf Shahbuddin 44D.

This is scary because even the police have now become victims. I am not wrong to infer that the security situation in this country has gone from bad to worse. I read somewhere that the majority of Malaysians do not feel safe at all.

I support DAP’s Lim Kit Siang’s timely call for the government to establish a parliamentary select committee to reform the police force, whose top priority should be to ensure the safety and security of Malaysians, investors, tourists, and even police officers themselves.

Ops Cantas aside, Malaysia is still crime-ridden!
