Cow Bells in Sungkai

The parents of two Year Four pupils in Sungkai, Perak had lodged police reports against a school teacher for forcing their children to wear cow bells around their necks for not doing their homework.

Muhammad Naswinder Muhammad Hamid and Mohamad Izat Iqbal Mohd Harith, claimed that the Khai Meng Chinese National Type School (SJKC) teacher had also threatened to cane them unless they ate grass from the school field.

This is yet another case of a teacher gone “mental”.

Director-General of Education Department, Dr Khair Mohamad Yusof said investigation by the Perak Education Department found that the action by the primary school teacher had tarnished the good image of the Ministry of Education.

And how was the English language teacher punished? The person was rewarded with a transfer to another school. Definitely, the punishment doesn’t fit the crime!

Yesterday, I was at Cititel MidValley to attend the MidValley Toastmasters meeting. It was a meeting that started on time and ended on time. A good meeting overall and I am happy to give it a score of an 8 over 10.Congratulations to club members and kindly keep it up!
