Malays Face 7 Perils

Perkasa’s Zulkifli Noordin was given media time by Utusan Malaysia and he was quick to seize the opportunity to express his views that Malays face seven perils and if unchecked, it would leave the country’s majority race in dire straits.

These are Christians, liberal Malays, progressive NGOs, Singapore and the three opposition parties, PKR, DAP and PAS.

Therefore, UMNO is the only salvation for the Malays. UMNO, he said, is Malay, and Malay is Islam, and Malays needed the party to fend off all these threats and ensure the continued survival of the race. Yawn! So what’s new?

Here’s a 2:38 minutes' video clip of the Baba Nyonya Gala Night on November 29, 2013:

Yesterday, Celtic decisively thrashed Motherwell 5-0, stretching the reigning champions' Scottish Premiership lead to eight points. Kris Commons' nonchalant back-heel opened the scoring after 44 minutes. The second goal came when Efe Ambrose rose unchallenged to head a 54th-minute corner. Commons pounced again in the seventy-sixth minute and then Anthony Stokes fired Celtic's fourth two minutes later and Bahrudin Atajic chipped in a fifth in the ninetieth minute.

It’s a 5-star performance, alright!

On Wednesday, Luis Suarez hit a spectacular four goals as Liverpool hammered Norwich City 5-1 at Anfield. The Uruguayan striker netted in the 15th, 29th, 35th and 74th minutes before Bradley Johnson headed home a consolation for the Canaries with seven minutes remaining. The Reds added their fifth two minutes from regular time, with Suarez setting up Raheem Sterling. I suppose, this win will give Brendan Rodgers' side a temporary sense of joyful relief after they were unceremoniously dismissed by Hull City in their previous EPL game.
