A Good Movie Plot

Psy is still in the news because another report has emerged to give the public this incredulous story that the attempt on his life was real after all! This confirmation came from the Penang CPO himself! Should I believe this tale? Are the police credible? How come, after the mini-concert, our Korean superstar could still spend a blissful three hours at the Daorae Korean BBQ Restaurant in Jalan Tanjung Tokong? I read that there were close to 300 adoring fans there. I certainly didn't read about any heavy-duty police escort. Whoever wanted to dispatch him must be a part-time assassin – Psy’s life was spared because the would-be killer was only working half day on that Monday!

The stories about Psy in Penang make a good movie plot, don’t you think? It can be a comedy.

And for those who just love conspiracy theories – I am thinking, what if there is some truth in the story after all? What do you mean, you may ask? Well, it is plausible that the threat on Psy's life was made because he gravely embarrassed the Prime Minister of Malaysia and Rosmah Mansor was not in the mood to forgive Psy. Najib is really fortunate to have an understanding yet protective wife.

Of course, it is mere speculation on my part but in Malaysia, stranger things have transpired. BTW, did anybody see a bomb disposal unit on Monday? Were there sniffer dogs? Did anybody report missing C4 plastic explosives? These are telltale signs, are they not?

Anyway, nothing untoward happened. But if Psy returns to Malaysia, I would advise him that he’d better watch out!
