Kayveas Rants

M Kayveas (left) of the teensy-weensy People’s Progressive Party (PPP) ranted that many of the Bersih 3.0 participants were those who have “shut their eyes to BN’s goodness” and were intent on blaming the ruling pact for their own failures in life. Oh dear, I am just told that I am a failure in life! Sigh!

As if insulting me and other Malaysians is not enough – he decided to continue to reproach us. “Ninety-nine percent of those who marched with Bersih did not know why they were there. Give a yellow T-shirt, a few hundred ringgit and they are there.” (Webpage http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/malaysia/article/children-paid-supporters-made-up-bersih-3.0s-crowd-says-kayveas1/
, published June 18, 2012). Now I am angry with S Ambiga! I had to pay for my Bersih T-shirt and I was cheated by the organizers, meaning, I didn’t get paid for participating in Bersih 3.0! Damn it, I have been short-changed by Bersih!

My heartfelt gratitude to Kayveas for opening my eyes and making me realize that I took part in Bersih 3.0 without knowing what I was rallying for on April 28! I was blinded by the anti-government rhetoric. I was stupid to be misled by Ambiga and the Bersih steering committee. And worse, I was duped by the opposition who had hijacked this “noble” cause to fight for clean and fair elections in order that they can manipulate me to fulfil their own selfish political ends.

It is despairing that politicians like you who have so much wisdom are not at all acknowledged by Malaysians who are simpletons at best. It is sad that come GE13, you and your party will be wiped out from the face of this planet. It is distressing that this is the outcome that will befall the likes of you and it is so unfair! At least, be comforted by the fact that for most Malaysians, we will be celebrating!

I attended the Money & You Toastmasters meeting yesterday. It was the usual fun-filled affair and overall the meeting was enjoyable. I was the Evaluator for the first speaker who presented CC speech # 3 and later on, I was duly voted the Best Evaluator. Ang Chee Yong was voted the Best Speaker and How Yee was the Best Table Topics Speaker. I daresay all three winners deserved the acclaim. I would give this meeting a 7 out of a 10 – a one point deduction because the standard of English was ordinary.
