Najib's You help me, I help you!

Can you still recall the Najib punchline “You help me, I help you”? In case, your memory fails you, this is the full extract of that infamous speech Najib Razak made:

“I want to make a deal with you. Boleh tak? Can we have a deal? Can we have an understanding or not? OK the understanding is quite simple. You help me, I help you. Ini bukan tipu. Because Hulu Selangor, you read in the papers. I gave this, I made this deal with the people in Hulu Selangor. They wanted 3 million ringgit for a Chinese school. New bangunan (building). I said to them: "Barisan Nasional wins on Sunday, on Monday I will ask a cheque to be prepared. They said yes. When we won on Sunday, Monday I called, prepare the cheque. Wednesday I delivered the cheque” (May 15, 2010: Speaking at Rejang Park, Sibu during campaigning for the Sibu by-election. Check out the YouTube video posted on May 27, 2010 in my blog. Okay, here's the link http://helpvictor.blogspot.com/2010/05/najibs-deals.html).

The above was blatantly said during election time. To a mainly Chinese crowd. Yersterday, at the Batu Caves temple during the Thaipusam festival, Najib said the same thing! This time, to a mostly Indian crowd. And this time also, he added the word ‘trust”!

The Malaysian Insider had reported that Najib had urged Indian Malaysians to “trust” him to improve their lives ahead of the 13th general election. This was what he said: “If you help me, I can help you. You trust me, I trust you”. And to demonstrate his pretended sincerity, he announced that RM2 million will be allocated to build a cultural center at the temple grounds. I am sure the huge crowd of Hindu devotees was thrilled to hear that.

But my point is that this hints of the general election that is fast approaching! Najib’s desperation is showing. I don’t know about the Indians but if I had heard it, I would puke! This is not to say I don’t trust my Prime Minsiter – sure, I do! I trust him a lot to bankrupt the country!

Screw this. I still remember when Najib came to Sibu and even dared to LC summore. Yes, I used to live at Rejang Park. In fact, that particular speech occurred right behind my house.

'Why do I need to come here? This is not the place for a Prime Minister.'

Najib is nothing but a liar and an oppressor of the people.
