Gaddafi is Dead

More than two months after revolutionary forces swept into Tripoli and seized control of most of Libya, they continued to face stiff resistance by Muammar Gaddafi loyalists in Sirte, Bani Walid and pockets in the south.

But in the end, the despised despot was killed after being captured by Libyan fighters he once scorned as "rats," cornered and shot in the head after they overrun his last bastion of resistance in his hometown of Sirte on Thursday.

It is worth mentioning that Liverpool aimed 29 shots at the Norwich City goal but they could only managed to convert one. Craig Bellamy took a pop at goal but his effort got deflected off of Marc Tierney and with the Canaries’ goalie John Ruddy being deceived by the flight of the ball, it sailed into the back of the net (45+1). The latter had shown remarkable resilience and their dogged determination was finally rewarded with an equalizer in the 60th minute when Anthony Pilkington, hugging the right touchline, produced a perfect cross that Grant Holt rose above the Liverpool duo, Jamie Carragher and Glen Johnson to head home. Liverpool had to be satisfied with just a point.
