Bad News

Prof Leong Yin Ching has resigned from the post of Director of Institutional Projects, Office of the Chancellor, and Academic Director, Sunway-TES. Sunway University’s loss is HELP’s gain. I don't know her well but I understand that she is one helluva remarkable lady!

More bad news. Celtic decisively beat Motherwell 4-0 but still their efforts were in vain as Rangers took the SPL title when they overwhelmed Kilmarnock 5-1.

In this crunch EPL match, Tottenham putting in a controlled and composed performance beat Liverpool 2-0 to leapfrog their rivals into fifth place and move a point ahead of the Merseysiders in the race for a Europa League place. Rafael van der Vaart chested down the ball and sent a dipping 20-yard strike into the Reds net (9) to put Spurs ahead. And then Luka Modric scored a penalty for Spurs (56) when John Flanagan's fouled Steven Pienaar.

In the other game between Arsenal and Aston Villa, the former lost 1-2 to the latter and denting Arsenal's hopes of automatic Champions League qualification in the process.
