Lotus versus Lotus

OMG! Najib sent me a spam text message to my handphone last night (08:50 PM)! I would like to know who’s paying for this?

The two Lotus teams have unveiled their new machines. Proton's Lotus Renault F1 (previously known as Renault Formula One) is striking with its black and gold livery, originally made famous by the original Lotus team in the 1980s. Team Lotus – owned by AirAsia boss Tony Fernandes and which raced as Lotus Racing last season – ran with a green and yellow livery.

A High Court trial awaits the two parties on March 21 over who will be given the green light to race as a Lotus. Meanwhile, it is Lotus versus Lotus.

In the match between Celtic and Aberdeen, the former beat the Dons for the third time in 10 days and in doing so moved eight points clear of Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premier League. Quick-thinking Hooper worked a one-two with strike partner Anthony Stokes as he raced past a static Aberdeen defense and slid the ball beyond goalie Jamie Langfield (12). The second goal came when Mark Wilson rose to meet Commons' in-swinging corner and his powerful header from six yards found the net (75). And the third came when Hooper ran away from goal in the Aberdeen box, found his strike partner Stokes, who then cut on to his left foot and shot between Langfield and his near post (78).

Everton took a first-half lead when Louis Saha scored (24) from what looked like an offside position – but the officials ruled that the intervention of Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny made the goal legitimate. Arsenal struggled long and hard to make the breakthrough in the face of discipline and organization from David Moyes's side, but two swift strikes in the final 20 minutes sealed the game for the Gunners. Substitute Andrey Arshavin drew them level when Jack Rodwell unwittingly headed Cesc Fabregas' pass into his path (70) before Koscielny took advantage of poor Everton marking at Robin van Persie's corner to head the winner five minutes later. Arsenal should be relieved that they finished this EPL game with a slender 2-1 win.
