Bill Sings

I went to the MAICSA Toastmasters meeting this evening, and for a change, just sat back to enjoy the goings-on. I was not playing any role at all and I didn’t even take part in the Table Topics session. It’s good to be passive once in a blue moon.

A reader told me about Bill Sim’s performance at the Commonwealth Club, KL captured on YouTube. This video clip is a tribute to this talented man and dedicated to his many friends, both Toastmasters and non-Toastmasters:

Singapore’s The Straits Times (October 05, 2010) has reported that the world's wealthiest people have responded to economic worries by buying gold by the bar – and sometimes by the ton – and by moving assets out of the financial system, bankers catering to the very rich said on Monday. I guess this is the most ostentatious way to display real wealth – buying physical bullion to keep!
