A Very Precious Smile

Yesterday, I was invited to the Money Mastery-MIHRM Joint Toastmasters meeting where I was to play the role of a grammarian. But because the designated General Evaluator withdrew at the eleventh hour, I became the General Evaluator instead. As usual, I met a couple of interesting personalities (e.g. Francis Ng, Chong Huey Yee), but more importantly, I can confess here that wherever and whenever Toastmasters meet, their meetings are always enjoyable.

In fact, Tuesdays are popular days for meetings – Taman Indrahana Toastmasters and Stamford Toastmasters also meet on the second and fourth Tuesdays. If only I could split myself three-ways!

The ongoing court investigation into the death of political aide Teoh Beng Hock which is supposed to continue today has been called off and will resume on Dec 17. The inquest is postponed because the second autopsy report is not yet ready. The findings are highly anticipated as they may confirm suspicions that Teoh was murdered.

I am posting a second photo of Victor Ong & Victor Ong (courtesy of Stephen Siow, Metro Toastmasters Club) only because this particular photo is one of those rare photos where I am actually caught smiling! For those who know me, it is uncommon to see me smile, and so this photo is priceless!
