Exhibition of Wealth

Denmark’s Prime Minister Lars Loekke Rasmussen in his opening address has described the UN climate summit in Copenhagen as an "opportunity the world cannot afford to miss" (Webpage http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/8398510.stm, posted December 07, 2009). But did we bother to remind our politicians to get serious about climate change? Did we knock their heads so that they know how to do the right thing? Did we?

I was talking about wealth just a couple of hours ago. Some people take extreme measures to acquire wealth. With wealth, I suppose they can then afford the luxuries of life. With these material things, they lend themselves an air of prestige and importance. They show the world that they are successful in life, or so they believed.

If we are so desperate to want to be seen as being successful, yet our wallets are dismally empty or near-empty – then let's be clever about it. Do what this guy did in the photo below. Ingenious, right?
